[00:00:19] Speaker A: Yeah, we.
[00:00:19] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:00:20] Speaker B: All right, how about. How about.
[00:00:24] Speaker D: We good?
[00:00:26] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
[00:00:27] Speaker A: You good?
[00:00:28] Speaker D: Great, great, great. You guys had a great week, too.
[00:00:32] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, I can't complain.
[00:00:36] Speaker A: So far, so good. My week, though, my work week don't end until Tuesday, but it's pretty good so far. Can't complain.
[00:00:47] Speaker C: I thought you was gonna say it don't end until you slide up into something different.
[00:00:51] Speaker B: Oh, Lord have mercy.
[00:00:53] Speaker A: You know what?
I. I feel like that's a shot.
[00:00:57] Speaker B: Fire.
[00:00:57] Speaker A: All right, before we get into the. Before we get into the topic, I'm gonna tell y' all what happened. So I went and stopped and got my mom a salad, right? So me and my brother on the phone.
But for a brief second, I think he forgot I was on the phone. Next thing I know, I'm sitting there waiting, waiting on them to make the salad, and I hear row 24. My brother say, yeah, all you gotta do is suck on it. And then, you know what I'm saying? You can crunch. You can suck on it. And then after that, you know, you. You should be able to crunch it. What the hell you talking about?
Let me find out. Let me find out. Him and him and his lady was talking about something I didn't want to hear.
[00:01:46] Speaker C: Oh, listen, all you gotta do is.
[00:01:50] Speaker A: Suck on it a little bit, you know, Then you can crunch up. Crunch on what? What the hell y' all got going on?
Yeah, he was not talking. No, that's what. No, that's what he said after I said something about it. I said, what the hell going on over there?
He act like he hit me the first time I asked the question. So the second time, I'm like, what's going on over there? Because if you need to get off the phone, then we can hang up.
You know what I'm saying? He was like, oh, no, we talking about ice.
[00:02:20] Speaker D: Yeah.
You know, my first thought was ice chips. You know, sucking on the crunch.
That's my thought. Look it out for you, bro.
[00:02:29] Speaker C: Appreciate you.
[00:02:30] Speaker A: Let me tell you something.
As you know what?
I think it's kind of messed up because Roku sit there and say stuff about me.
They don't look out for me.
You need to look. Darryl co signs to where everything look.
[00:02:46] Speaker C: Out for you too. He look out for you.
[00:02:50] Speaker A: The only time. No, the only time. The only person that looked out for me was him. He looked out for me last week. We said, you know what?
Gerard ain't. Ain't rim nobody out. You know what I'm saying? That's. That was a lookout.
Exactly.
[00:03:11] Speaker B: Him. Just like the Alphabet.
Yeah, but you know, you know what's so funny about.
You know, so funny about what you guys just said?
You know, I. I love how the way you said that, bro, is that they ain't gonna. He's sitting there chipping on ice.
[00:03:33] Speaker D: Yeah, ice.
[00:03:33] Speaker B: You know he's there.
[00:03:34] Speaker D: But you suck it. Yeah, Crunchy.
[00:03:36] Speaker B: Hey, look. But hey, hey, hey, road dog, I hate to tell you this, man. Yeah, you crunching on ice.
I gotta. I got. Once again, I gotta agree with Gerard.
[00:03:47] Speaker D: Look, you doing.
[00:03:50] Speaker A: I'm just saying.
[00:03:54] Speaker B: Huh?
[00:03:54] Speaker C: And see, that's the thing to bring up some ice. So I brought up some ice.
[00:03:59] Speaker A: I didn't hear that. I didn't hear that. All I heard was, y' all you gotta do. And then it was. It was. It was. No, but it was the smoothness in which he said it. He was like, yeah, all you gotta do is suck it. You know what I'm saying? You know, but crunch on it a little bit.
[00:04:13] Speaker B: I said, God damn.
[00:04:15] Speaker A: God damn.
I said, oh, hell, I hear you with your boyish charm. I hear you.
[00:04:28] Speaker D: But now, again, you'll forget you big brother you supposed to be and have an understanding.
[00:04:35] Speaker A: Look, look, look.
No, because if you go back to the show that we not supposed to talk about, he was the one giving the class.
[00:04:43] Speaker C: Sweet Jesus, here we go.
[00:04:45] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:04:49] Speaker A: He was given a class.
Teaching the whole class.
Listen. So, I mean, I'm just saying, teaching.
[00:04:58] Speaker C: Is really teaching if, you know, you just given the tidbits that was given to you.
So I'm just passing on the notes that you gave me to.
[00:05:11] Speaker A: Everyone knows.
No, no, because I'm be honest with you.
As you were talking.
No, as you was talking, I pulled out my pen in my notepad and took notes.
[00:05:23] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:05:27] Speaker B: All right.
[00:05:34] Speaker A: You know, I'm just saying, you know, hey, look, you know, hey. The student has surpassed the teacher. I had to take some notes.
[00:05:43] Speaker B: I see.
[00:05:45] Speaker A: I'm just saying.
Oh, so you stick your thoughts.
[00:05:49] Speaker C: Well, you was.
It sound like what you did was.
[00:05:53] Speaker A: No, that's what you said in that show.
Yeah, yeah, that's what you told me.
You gotta stick that thumb in there and they gotta make that noise, that. Whatever. That noise you made. I was like, oh, wow. Really? I had to write that down.
I think we need. I think we got to write that down.
Yeah, we Gotta write that down. I ain't know that.
I ain't know that.
[00:06:13] Speaker C: I just know what you told me and I said I'll go ahead and say it for you on the show. So that's what I did.
[00:06:23] Speaker B: Look, I can't do it tonight.
[00:06:24] Speaker C: Y' all.
[00:06:25] Speaker B: Y' all got stop, man. Because that show. I'm just saying that show was one of a kind.
[00:06:33] Speaker A: It was, it was.
Because I was shocked to hear the things I heard when I pulled up at that McDonald's drive thru that night.
As I was doing, as I was on the show, I was shocked and appalled.
[00:06:50] Speaker C: I find that highly unlikely.
[00:06:53] Speaker A: Well, I kind of do.
[00:06:56] Speaker C: I don't know.
But you told enough.
You told enough good stories to make no stories, sir.
[00:07:06] Speaker A: Lie about.
No, no. Some people are just playing out liars and can't help themselves.
That's. That's it.
You know.
But we're gonna go ahead and get into Tonight's title episode 83.
Have you ever fumbled a pass that someone else intercepted?
I want to go first. So I got one. Can I go? No, go ahead, go ahead.
[00:07:37] Speaker B: So let me, let me clarify. Okay, so when you think about Fumble. Okay, so it could be a job.
[00:07:45] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
[00:07:46] Speaker B: It could be a man, it could be a woman, it could be you at the grocery store, somebody.
It could be anything that you Fumble perfect watermelon.
[00:07:57] Speaker D: You let it go.
[00:07:59] Speaker B: But what we talking about tonight.
Have you ever man and man fumble another man.
I lied. We ain't talking about that.
Everybody got quiet.
[00:08:16] Speaker A: Everybody got quiet.
Everybody got quiet as hell.
[00:08:26] Speaker D: I'm getting ready to close up my stuff and go home.
[00:08:31] Speaker B: But you know what? If you look at Fumble, like each and every one of us have a. Like a story to tell about failed to receive. You know what I'm saying? Like, it could be like you had the perfect.
[00:08:42] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:08:42] Speaker B: Money in the account and then someone came and make you. Made you actually make. Look, you could actually took that person out to eat dinner.
[00:08:51] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:08:51] Speaker B: You know, you know you a had $200. You knew you got about 200 in there and she. She end up ordering a tomahawk steak. That's eight $80.
[00:08:59] Speaker D: That's $80 by itself.
[00:09:01] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? So you Fumble.
[00:09:03] Speaker D: You.
[00:09:03] Speaker B: I mean, look, some. She. Look, she had to move on to somebody else that gonna.
[00:09:07] Speaker D: Somebody else took her home.
[00:09:08] Speaker B: That's right. But go ahead, Gerard.
[00:09:11] Speaker A: Oh, I'm gonna play the message first.
[00:09:17] Speaker B: Ah, hell yeah.
[00:09:18] Speaker E: Hey, I fumbled my ex, bro. Hell yeah, I fumbled that. And it was a bounce pass from one of My homies from long time. I met her when she. I was like, nah, I knew her before I knew her.
And she was like, hey, what's the so and so? I wanna holler at you.
[00:09:37] Speaker A: I was like, for real?
[00:09:38] Speaker E: Cause I was shocked as a. I was like, damn. I hadn't heard from her in hell. I met her when I was 15.
I was like, damn, I ain't heard from her. Hell, I was like, dog, that's what's up.
And then it wasn't what's up?
And then it really wasn't what's up. So then it was like, oh.
So I was around cheating, doing all kinds of other man. I was trying to get the up out of there, Jack, you know what I'm saying?
And then I dropped that right where I left it.
Yeah.
[00:10:17] Speaker A: God damn.
[00:10:21] Speaker B: That's.
[00:10:21] Speaker D: That's what's up.
Like I said, it happens. And he was right. We've all been there. We've always. We've all fumbled a pass that you should have caught and somebody else intercepted it for sure. That.
[00:10:33] Speaker C: That.
[00:10:34] Speaker B: That's.
[00:10:34] Speaker D: That's simply what's up. It. It has happened and it's gonna. It may happen again, but that is what's up.
But my thing is, how do you feel after you fumble and somebody else pick it up?
[00:10:48] Speaker C: Man, that be a good punch.
[00:10:51] Speaker A: That's a good pissed off.
Yeah, it is.
All that work you done put in. Yep.
[00:10:57] Speaker D: Yeah.
A gentleman, older gentleman, used to tell me, said. She said. He said, let me tell you. And you talking to me and his. And his son, you never fatten a chicken for the hawk. Now this was old school, but I.
[00:11:09] Speaker B: Always wondered, what the hell is he talking about?
[00:11:12] Speaker D: But it's like you done. You done treated her right, you done fed her, you didn't wind her, you done dined her, you didn't. Did all the things you needed to do. And somebody else turned around and get the girl. You done got a lovely. You got a dressing right. You got her looking good, you got her smelling good. You gotta. Got her in a. In a good head space and somebody swoop in there and take her from you. You done fat the chicken for the horse. Look at that.
[00:11:36] Speaker A: Now they getting head. Look at that there.
[00:11:52] Speaker C: Oh, shoot.
[00:11:53] Speaker A: Damn.
No, but I had a situation. This one. I was in the military, so, you know, go to the NCO club every. I think it was, I think Friday night. So this particular night, there was this other. Well, I was an E4, so I was a specialist. So there was this sergeant and me and her, we Were cooks or whatever. And she pulled me out on dance floor. She was like, we're gonna dance tonight. So we dance, like, I want to say, like five, six songs, you know, right before the. They turned the lights on, so then I turned one of the way. They turned lights on, I turned and I lost her in the crowd because it was a bunch of people.
So I ain't think nothing of it. Got up next morning, go to work.
There was this other sergeant and he was like, t, I want to appreciate you. I said, for what, man? You gotta primed up for me.
You said, t. I said, oh, yeah. Because it went by my last name, Taylor. So they always go. They always call me T.
Oh, oh, okay. No, don't do that. Don't do that.
Don't go there, sir.
Don't go there, sir. I already know where you're going.
No, but that. No, seriously, though, because we didn't never go by, like, first names. So it was like last name or whatever. But yeah. And then he was just like, yeah, you got it ready for me? I said all that. That's some.
He watched, I guess, like the last couple songs.
[00:13:24] Speaker D: You got it. Had a dance then got that thing all. All juicy and sweaty. And then you pat. He had to pass it off.
[00:13:31] Speaker A: I turned. I turned my back for two seconds and she was gone. And she was gone after that.
Yeah, he scooped her.
[00:13:39] Speaker B: So. I mean, the only sad part about that is that you remind me of Stevie Wonder. He can't see anybody who he have sex with.
[00:13:46] Speaker D: No, no.
[00:13:47] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying?
[00:13:55] Speaker A: I'm like this one. I guess at that point. Hey, Ro. I was like this one dude.
[00:14:00] Speaker B: Yeah, that.
[00:14:01] Speaker A: That you. I like that one dude that, you know, he called himself want to cheat, but never consummate the deal and always get his ass whooped.
That's what that was.
Get holes in. You get holes. Get baseball bats to your truck.
Holes in your TV stepson trying to whoop your ass.
[00:14:38] Speaker B: Then the saddest part about it, I need somebody to come over here. He got a gun on me. What the heck is going on? He got.
[00:14:48] Speaker A: How the hell you. How the hell you get in trouble for thinking about cheating on somebody? You ain't did nothing. You just thought about it. Your ass still got in trouble.
[00:14:56] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:14:56] Speaker C: Oh, goodness.
[00:15:00] Speaker B: These are the words, and these are the words of.
[00:15:05] Speaker A: Me.
And now you fast forward so many. You, hey. You fast forward so many years later, you in a relationship, but your social media status say you not in a relationship.
[00:15:28] Speaker B: Hey, what was. So. So when you Are not in the relationship. It just say S I, N, G.
What? It's L, E.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.
Oh, it doesn't say relationship because I. I've been seeing. I've seen. I've been seeing that. I mean, you know, relationship status. Well, direct.
I mean, from what I was told, both of them say they single thing.
[00:15:59] Speaker D: Okay. Okay.
[00:16:00] Speaker B: I wonder. She looking. Looking for some Hercules.
[00:16:03] Speaker A: Hercules.
[00:16:06] Speaker B: Oh, I wonder if she looking for some Nutty. For Professor.
[00:16:09] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:16:09] Speaker B: Are he looking for some Brokeback Mountain?
[00:16:14] Speaker D: Oh.
[00:16:17] Speaker A: Whoa.
I just caught that.
[00:16:19] Speaker D: Yeah, I didn't see that coming.
[00:16:21] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying?
I'm confused. I'm confused right now because, you know, it's a bunch of people now fumble some pass.
[00:16:32] Speaker D: But, yeah, if you actually.
[00:16:34] Speaker B: If. If you really look at it and you do the technical side of it, some people and somebody received, it could be a.
[00:16:55] Speaker A: What happened.
[00:16:57] Speaker C: So I'm reconnecting.
[00:17:00] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:17:00] Speaker A: Okay. I see it now.
[00:17:01] Speaker B: Oh, there you go.
[00:17:02] Speaker C: He back now.
[00:17:08] Speaker A: $. Something else. I just want y' all to know.
[00:17:10] Speaker D: That it's never a good feeling, you know, after the fact. You know, you done did the whining. You didn't. Did the dining. You done, you know, poured. You know, you didn't let her in the space places that you would normally let them in. And then, like I said, somebody else come on and reap the benefits because her heart is tender now. Her. She's receptive now. Well, did all that hard work, and at the end of the day, you lose out.
[00:17:37] Speaker B: Well, like, hey, you know, I gotta be reminded of a person that I said is my best friend, but really not my best friend. Donzel Washington hit it right on the head.
[00:17:49] Speaker D: King Kong ain't got nothing on me.
[00:17:53] Speaker B: Ain't got nothing on me.
[00:17:58] Speaker A: That's.
[00:17:58] Speaker B: That's where I go at.
[00:17:59] Speaker D: Yeah.
It can't be a good feeling, though.
[00:18:03] Speaker B: Hey, Dale, I forgot that since. Since JP not here.
You. You sure you don't want to do the d' Angelo slide?
[00:18:12] Speaker D: No, man, I'm good.
[00:18:14] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:18:14] Speaker D: I'm good.
[00:18:14] Speaker B: I was wondering.
[00:18:15] Speaker D: No d' Angelo slide for me.
[00:18:16] Speaker B: I was wondering if you wanted to be the. How can I feel?
[00:18:22] Speaker E: I would.
[00:18:24] Speaker B: And.
[00:18:24] Speaker D: And again, even though JP Ain't with us, he's always with us in spirit and thought, you know, he's our dude. JP Is definitely. As a matter of fact.
[00:18:32] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:33] Speaker D: On this. On this topic.
[00:18:34] Speaker B: Yeah, Let me call him right now. Let me. Let me call him. Y' all keep talking.
[00:18:41] Speaker D: Because he was loving this topic.
You know, JP Always got some. Some stories, some Open hour stories. And.
And like I said, you know, JP always got a. A spin to put on every. Every episode.
[00:18:55] Speaker C: Yes. Oh, yeah.
[00:18:58] Speaker A: So do. So do either one of y' all have a example where y' all fumble?
[00:19:04] Speaker C: Yeah, I got one. I got one. Senior week at the beach.
It was senior week at the beach. You know, me and such as me and such and such was there.
And in our hotel, it was two girls that were swimming in the pool. Anyway, we got them to come up.
The one I was talking to really wasn't giving me no attention.
So we walking them back. As we walk in the back, we started talking about college and all this other.
So she started opening up. I was like, okay, so I'm working my way into it now. Get them back to their room. And literally, they had an ass of people in they. And they in their room.
So we walking in and his body's everywhere. It's dark. Next. Man, I know I lost a hand and I couldn't find her in the goddamn dark in. In dark room. So I was like. I had to go back outside. I was like. I told grass, hey, can you.
[00:19:57] Speaker B: Hey, go.
[00:19:58] Speaker C: Go get your friend right quick because I can't find her.
[00:20:02] Speaker A: Damn.
Damn.
[00:20:04] Speaker C: I was trying not to step on the bike. We haven't been drinking too. I was up.
[00:20:08] Speaker A: But yeah, man, you should have stepped on somebody.
[00:20:12] Speaker C: We're trying. We're trying to wake everybody up.
That was a good three hour turnaround.
[00:20:18] Speaker A: To get it to get away.
[00:20:20] Speaker C: It need to be. But, you know.
[00:20:33] Speaker B: You ain't never fumble anything.
[00:20:34] Speaker D: Oh, man, I.
Yeah, for sure, for sure. Matter of fact, I even went to the wedding.
So I'm sitting there. Oh, you went to the wedding? I went to the wedding.
I'm sitting there in the cut, you know, and. And you know, the officiants, like anybody have any cause for these two not to be united in holy matrimony? And I'm vibrating like I'm gonna say something.
[00:20:59] Speaker A: I don't say something.
[00:21:00] Speaker D: And I like, nah, I ain't gonna mess nothing up. Hey, bro, that fell on me.
[00:21:04] Speaker B: Hey, bro, not to interrupt you while you tell the story. Yeah, man, you said you were run.
[00:21:09] Speaker D: I was at the wedding.
[00:21:10] Speaker B: No, no, but before that. You said you were vibrating.
[00:21:12] Speaker D: Yeah, man, I was vibrating.
I'm say I'm hand up.
[00:21:18] Speaker B: No, no, it's like.
[00:21:19] Speaker A: Nah, I think it's the vibrating part. Yeah, I think it was the vibrating part.
[00:21:26] Speaker D: Okay, you can't that out then.
[00:21:28] Speaker B: Because. Because if you. If you said they vibrated, a lot of people take that.
[00:21:32] Speaker D: Well, no, don't take it that way. You got to remember now, the dictionary.
[00:21:36] Speaker B: Mess me up, but the Alphabet is full up with A.
[00:21:39] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:21:39] Speaker B: Got you a different kind.
[00:21:41] Speaker D: Okay. For people. I was anticipating saying something. How about that?
[00:21:45] Speaker B: But you gotta. You also, brother. I, I, I love everybody here. You guys gotta be very careful with the word, because this month right here is a very special month for my cousin.
[00:21:57] Speaker A: Was it Pride Month?
[00:22:00] Speaker D: I can't be prideful.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: So my cousin, my cousin called me today. He said, can I be a part of your podcast? I said, hell no.
[00:22:07] Speaker A: Wow, wow, wow.
[00:22:11] Speaker B: I said, you ain't fumble nothing. I said, you receive a lot, but he receiver.
[00:22:15] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:22:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:22:18] Speaker A: Oh, damn.
Oh, damn.
Oh, my God.
Hey, so, so what you so, so, so what y' all saying? He's a specialist.
So what you're saying is. Hey, so you're saying he especially is at the Tish Push, that what you're saying?
[00:22:57] Speaker B: Well, he said, he called me today. He said, hey, you guys doing the podcast tonight?
And I said, no.
He said, you're lying.
I said, no.
He said, so you guys are not doing the podcast tonight? I said, yeah. He said, so which one is it? Are you guys doing a podcast tonight?
And I said, no.
He said, are you lying again?
I said, no.
I said, we can't be going back and forth with this, okay?
So I asked him, I said, I can't let you be a part of my podcast tonight because the only reason why I can't let you, because you would turn it out. Yeah, he would turn. I mean, look, he would, he would turn it out, but.
Charlie, I love you, bro.
I love you, Charlie.
AKA Charletta Charlotte.
[00:23:57] Speaker D: Okay, Charlene.
[00:24:05] Speaker C: Put it in Coach.
[00:24:06] Speaker A: I wanna.
[00:24:11] Speaker D: Don't put me in coach. Just put it in coach. Oh, Lord.
[00:24:17] Speaker B: I received, I received everything that was welcome.
[00:24:22] Speaker D: If you, if you throw it to me, I'm gonna catch it.
[00:24:24] Speaker B: So can I, can I be the ride receiver? Oh, heck yeah, you can, Bear. Oh, how about you just be the center of the night. Hike, hike, hike.
[00:24:33] Speaker D: But don't forget what receipt. Don't forget what, What a center. Is he right behind the quarterback? Even from the quarterback.
I'll be the center.
And you know, you got to put your hand up on it.
[00:24:45] Speaker E: And.
[00:24:47] Speaker D: That'S his perfect position.
You got your hands under his nut and, and you.
He beat you happy with that?
[00:24:55] Speaker B: That's right.
[00:24:56] Speaker D: That's it. He boy. That's a happy son. I want to be that Santa, but you know what?
[00:25:00] Speaker B: You but, but if you think about it.
[00:25:06] Speaker D: And we want A long count. We want a 10 count.
We want a real long. We gonna draw them all size.
No, you gotta get closer. I get the ball, fan.
Oh, no, I promise you, they like, you know, whatever we want to try to. You want what you do to send. Not today.
No, sir.
[00:25:29] Speaker B: I'll never be.
[00:25:30] Speaker D: I'll be the guard, not be the tackle.
I ain't doing that.
[00:25:34] Speaker A: Look.
[00:25:35] Speaker D: No.
[00:25:35] Speaker B: Oh, shoot. Two positions. I'm never, ever.
I ain't gonna be a center.
[00:25:40] Speaker D: No.
[00:25:40] Speaker B: And I ain't receiving anything. I'm never gonna be a wide receiver.
[00:25:45] Speaker D: Well, no.
[00:25:45] Speaker B: Like I said. No, no, no, no. Think about it.
[00:25:48] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:25:49] Speaker B: Because you wife, see, you want the ball all the time, so think about it. So you want my ball all the time. I'm gonna throw my balls a couple times. Times to you. I'm. And you wi. Look, how about you be wide open?
You get.
[00:26:03] Speaker A: Oh, goodness.
[00:26:05] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:26:06] Speaker B: You get where I'm going at that.
[00:26:08] Speaker C: So if you.
[00:26:09] Speaker B: If you wide open, how would you receive this pass?
Huh?
Huh? I got something for you. How would you receive all these balls that I'm gonna be throwing at you?
[00:26:20] Speaker D: Oh, Lord.
Now, now, now, I'm fe. Like I said.
Hey, if we get this twisted, we don't get it really twisted.
[00:26:31] Speaker A: What's up, brother?
[00:26:35] Speaker B: But we. We got. We got J.P. on the line tonight.
Hey, hey, J.P. yeah. How you doing today?
We doing fine.
Have you ever fumbled a pass that somebody intercept you? Ain't never, no.
[00:27:18] Speaker D: And most time I don't finish.
[00:27:20] Speaker B: So you. So you. You.
So you dumped the woman first.
[00:27:31] Speaker D: I'd be like, okay, this is old. I said, I'm going out to my car.
I say, hold on, I gotta get something out of my car.
[00:28:02] Speaker B: So.
So, JP Right quick before I let you go, man, I know. I know that you're about to go to work.
So. Have you ever thought about P. Diddy and them.
[00:28:27] Speaker D: Was a ruthless cat.
Something that's been going on. He wasn't in it by himself. No, no.
[00:28:34] Speaker B: That's got more money than P. Diddy at the top just killed his heel.
[00:28:39] Speaker D: And the only reason this come about.
[00:28:40] Speaker B: I think was they got pissed off with.
[00:28:45] Speaker D: His liquor.
[00:28:46] Speaker B: Yeah, that liquor company.
[00:28:47] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, that's right. That's a rock.
Yes, sir.
[00:28:53] Speaker B: When he got them, you know, giving.
[00:28:55] Speaker D: Him a hard time in their mind giving him a hard time about his life, perhaps it was probably cheating, you.
[00:29:02] Speaker B: Know, he's probably not getting away the.
[00:29:03] Speaker D: Royal things he was supposed to be getting off.
[00:29:06] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:29:06] Speaker D: He sells a lot of alcohol and so. So I think that's what that was retaliation?
[00:29:12] Speaker B: Yeah, well, we, look, brother, we ain't gonna hold you up tonight. We, we know that you on your way going to work and all that stuff like that, and we, we really appreciate you. But last thing I got, I gotta say make sure, make sure you make sure you hold the standing wheel tight because someone's gonna dip. Somebody's gonna diddy you.
Love you too, brother.
Yes, sir.
[00:30:08] Speaker C: Oh, shoot. Oh, we got a message.
[00:30:10] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:30:14] Speaker E: Yeah, fell. I'mma tell y' all this though.
Oh, I was so much better after all of that. I mean, whoever got that one, good luck.
[00:30:25] Speaker A: Straight up.
[00:30:26] Speaker E: That's a pass. And I' ma tell you right there, I fumbled it. But whoever catch that mother is, boy. Hey, hey, they gonna need therapy, bro. They gonna need something after that. Because some people, boy, they just need to be by themselves.
They don't know what they doing with people.
So they need a blow up something. They need a, you know, all the toys in the world they could think of, bro. They need some like that.
They don't need an actual person for real in their lives because they don't know what to do with a person around break them, you know what I'm saying? But not me.
[00:31:18] Speaker B: That makes sense, man.
Yeah, but I mean, you know what? I, I, in, in, in all honesty, we all done. Like, I, I can honestly say, I, I don't fumble a couple bags, you know what I'm saying?
[00:31:33] Speaker D: Sure.
[00:31:34] Speaker B: And when you fumble bags, they actually make you better as a person, you know what I'm saying? Either if it's like finances or with a woman and all this stuff like that.
[00:31:48] Speaker D: But, you know, and, and it don't have to always be with a relationship. Yeah. You know, sometimes you've got a decent job opportunity, you know, and you decide you don't want it and somebody else jump on it and, and turn into something, you know, like I said, this buyer's remorse, you know, I should have did that. You know, you can always afterthought think yourself. But at the end of the day, you know, like I said again, you fumble, you know, and you got to keep pressing on.
[00:32:13] Speaker B: But, you know, so, you know, so funny about that. And what's so right about what you just said is that like, we all got an opportunity.
[00:32:20] Speaker A: Right?
[00:32:21] Speaker B: So when you think about the job and you got an opportunity to actually. So these people come to you and I'm not calling, I'm just saying these people, I'm not saying black, white, but these people, they'll come to you and say, hey, hey, Arnold, we got this new job opening for you. Do you want it?
They don't, they don't actually explain the part of the job. They don't, they don't explain the requirement of the job. They don't explain all the logistic of the job. They just think that you gonna be an ideal fit for the job.
[00:32:55] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:32:56] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? So then when you think about the job, you're like, man, I want that job, man. It's gonna pay a certain amount of money. Because I don't see this, I don't seen it on, Indeed, I don't seeing it on LinkedIn. That is paying a certain amount of money. And they said, hey, Arnold, that job only paying 15 hour. What the heck?
[00:33:16] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:33:16] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying?
[00:33:17] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:33:17] Speaker B: So that's, I mean, like you gonna fumble the bag like that because you, you, you, you, you got all the information, but they actually side, they sidestepping you. They know that you're a good employee, but they ain't want to pay you the money like others.
You know what I'm saying?
If that makes sense.
[00:33:34] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, I understand.
[00:33:40] Speaker C: Yeah, I know two or three of them jobs.
[00:33:46] Speaker B: Huh?
[00:33:47] Speaker C: I said, oh, no, I was just saying that. Yeah, I know I fumbled about two or three jobs before that. I had opportunity. I decided not to take them.
Like they were saying, you have that. Why didn't I?
I was betting on myself in the, in that current situation I was in. I said, you know what, I'mma stay where I'm at.
And you know, as the years go on, you'd be like, oh, shoot. Matter of fact, me and draw. I was just telling Gerard about it about two of them. Matter of fact, I was like dead opportunities that I just let go past me because I decided to bid on myself at where I was at.
But I think hind, I probably would do it over.
Yeah.
[00:34:38] Speaker D: And as you said, hindsight, you know, hindsight. Like, you know what? I should have, I should have took it up, you know, I, I, I should have maybe stayed where I was or, or kept Kepo girl or, or kept the position.
[00:34:50] Speaker B: But think about it, brother. I mean, like, we all are worth something when it comes down to money. You know what I'm saying?
[00:34:55] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:34:55] Speaker B: So if you think that, so think about what you working at right now. You're supposed to be making more than 15, 16 an hour, right. Somebody else above you making like 18, 19 hours, but they ain't doing as much work. We all privy for that conversation. You know what? I'm saying to have. You know what I mean? So we don't fumble the bag. I think the. The people that's above us fumble the bag.
Now, when you come down to like, ladies and gentlemen and all this stuff like that, I think that we all done, you know. You know, it's just like when you meet your significant. Your first significant other, you know, each and every single one of us probably got a story to tell about our first person that we met and that.
[00:35:38] Speaker D: That might be the topic of our next conversation.
[00:35:40] Speaker B: Man, we thought. We thought that person was the.
[00:35:43] Speaker D: That was it.
[00:35:44] Speaker B: Diamond in eyes and all that stuff like that.
But something happened, actually changed that relationship, you know what I'm saying? Now that person are. You got more kids than the norm, you know what I'm saying? So, I mean, each and every single person. I fumbled a bag. But when we talk about finances and all this stuff like that.
[00:36:02] Speaker D: Yeah, we.
[00:36:03] Speaker B: A lot of us hadn't had the opportunity to show our potential.
[00:36:07] Speaker D: Good point.
[00:36:09] Speaker B: We didn't have our. We never ever had our opportunity. And then it's. It's always a Isaac, Jeremiah. No, let me. Let me get it right. It's all always a Billy Bob.
No, a. Because I'm talking about the different colors right now.
[00:36:25] Speaker D: Yeah, true, true.
[00:36:27] Speaker E: I.
[00:36:27] Speaker B: You know, I. I can't call. I can't call him Ray. Ray. Ray Ray Black.
[00:36:31] Speaker D: Yeah. And Pooky Black.
[00:36:32] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying?
[00:36:33] Speaker B: Yeah, but I'm just saying how. How. How it happens, you know? Know what I mean? We sit there and we give our.
[00:36:39] Speaker D: You.
[00:36:40] Speaker B: We give, you know, our blood, and we give our pes. And we give our, you know, like you said, sweat. And then it's still not enough, but then somebody else.
[00:36:53] Speaker D: Come in and.
[00:36:54] Speaker B: And not to take over the conversation because we can keep going on about this, but what get me the most is the people that don't do enough that still got their job. How long you were here, Harry? I was here 20 years.
[00:37:09] Speaker C: God dang.
[00:37:09] Speaker B: Harry was here 20 years. He ain't did nothing yet.
[00:37:14] Speaker D: He did just enough.
[00:37:16] Speaker B: And you sitting and you sitting there. You. You the one who like. And not to use your job, Gerard. Or your job Row. Or your job, Dale. Or my job. No, I mean, think about it, Gerard.
You know what I'm saying? You cut more meat than Harry.
[00:37:33] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:37:34] Speaker B: Are you put out more chips? Are you putting more drinks out? Are you more. You did more. You do more conference call. I do more this or that, you know what I'm saying?
And how you still got his job yeah.
[00:37:46] Speaker D: And thriving.
[00:37:47] Speaker B: And then the minute that we say that we want to actually sit there and be, we're gonna be off.
[00:37:52] Speaker D: Be like, yeah, we're gonna be off.
[00:37:54] Speaker B: No, no, no, you can't be off. Yeah, well, Harry gonna take no, Harry don't know you respond, but God dang, Harry, the one who supposedly traded me.
[00:38:05] Speaker A: That's what I'm getting at.
[00:38:10] Speaker B: Somebody, somebody who hired us, fumbled the ball and let Harry.
Jocelyne Nicaragua.
[00:38:19] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:38:20] Speaker D: Takira or tequila.
[00:38:23] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, totally. TT wow.
[00:38:36] Speaker D: There we go.
[00:38:37] Speaker A: I didn't see that, didn't see that one.
[00:38:43] Speaker B: But y' all get what I'm trying to go at with this, you know what I mean? Yeah, it's a lot of, yeah, it's a lot of fumbles that happen.
[00:38:49] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:38:49] Speaker B: And it never benefit us. But guess what?
You know what? And I'll leave it alone after I say this.
J Rod Ro Dell G Man, don't show up to work tomorrow. I bet your phone will be blowing up.
[00:39:05] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, that's true.
[00:39:08] Speaker A: I know mine will.
[00:39:10] Speaker B: But if the other person don't show up to work tomorrow, they phony. They know. I, I call a lot at 2:00 in the morning.
What the heck you call out 2:00 clock? But you know, you know you're supposed to be work. I can't even call out. They gonna call me and say, man, you know, you gotta take a vacation day. You're gonna have to take a personal day.
But what happened to the other person?
Yeah, I'm just saying, like sometimes, sometimes, like, and I, you know, and you know, I go off script sometime. But you know what I think that it is?
We are some hard working African American men. That's all I gotta say. You're wired that way. And that's why. Because we were trained by our parents.
[00:39:50] Speaker D: Exactly.
[00:39:51] Speaker B: Our parents taught us that. That's why I was keep, I keep going at it. Parents, when you see your mom and dad working hard, or your dad or you and all this stuff like that, you like, man, my work has to come from my dad.
[00:40:03] Speaker D: I, I, I want to say this. I grew up in New Jersey. I grew up with parents. My, my dad had a third grade education, mom had a seventh grade education.
But what I did see, what you had.
I got a degree.
[00:40:18] Speaker B: That's right. So you, you add all that up, guess what? You end up having, you know, together.
[00:40:23] Speaker D: They had a temporary education.
[00:40:24] Speaker B: And then when you add what you need to add, it was a college degree.
[00:40:28] Speaker D: But at the same token, my work ethic came from seeing Them get up and go every day.
[00:40:32] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:40:33] Speaker D: They would get up when they were sick. They would get up when they felt. Well, we lived in New Jersey. They would get up and have to dig themselves out of a foot or so of snow just to get their cars out so they could go to work and be on time. They were shoveling snow in the dark so they could get up and go to work and be at work on time. It's the work ethic, you know? So like I said again, and. And again, I. I bring it back to our conversation. You know, I didn't fumble any balls in that regard, because, like I said again, I learned. I learned. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
[00:41:05] Speaker B: No, no, no, no. Ain't never ever said fumble balls.
Oh, gosh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. The topic ain't never say fumble the ball. What's the topic? The topic says that. Have you ever fumble it? Pass or pass?
[00:41:24] Speaker D: I want to bat with passing the bunn. Okay. Yeah, it's the b.
Okay. I'm secure in mine.
[00:41:42] Speaker B: I don't want nobody to actually sit there and say, oh, no, no, no.
[00:41:45] Speaker D: But I'm secure in mine. I don't care how it got out, but I'm secure with me, but from the past.
But you passing. Okay.
[00:41:53] Speaker B: I just don't want.
[00:41:54] Speaker D: What were you passing, though?
[00:41:55] Speaker B: I just don't want nobody.
[00:41:59] Speaker D: Yeah, I got you. We good.
[00:42:00] Speaker B: But, yes, we said the ball. I was like.
[00:42:07] Speaker C: We pass it though.
[00:42:11] Speaker B: The ball. The woman.
The woman or the man.
You know what I'm saying? The job.
[00:42:20] Speaker D: Okay.
For clarity's sake, we understand. I got you. Thank you for the clarification.
[00:42:26] Speaker B: Yeah. I just don't. Yeah, but, yeah, because anytime you put anything with balls and all this stuff like that, you got some of these.
[00:42:34] Speaker D: Oh, these lurkers. Like I said, I'm secure with mine. Yeah. Lurkers will get hurt.
[00:42:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
They'll sit there. Yeah.
[00:42:42] Speaker D: You lurk all you want, you'll get hurt.
[00:42:44] Speaker B: They'll be on a mini vacation.
[00:42:46] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
[00:42:47] Speaker B: And then, look, once again, let me say this.
Nothing against anything right now, what I'm about to say, but it's Pride month, so what he was saying that he.
[00:42:57] Speaker D: He.
[00:42:58] Speaker B: He's passing, not fucking fumbling any balls.
[00:43:07] Speaker A: Y' all are so wrong.
[00:43:15] Speaker C: Hey, we got another message.
[00:43:17] Speaker A: All right.
[00:43:21] Speaker E: Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I got one there. Okay, so one bag I fumbled in. Right. I met her back when we was kids.
[00:43:29] Speaker D: We.
[00:43:29] Speaker E: We kind of pretty much technically grew up together. Like, when I was three, she was a baby, so I Was looking at her in the stroller type. So we grew up in the church together type.
She grew up in, out, bro. She had everything. Pliggity plow, pliggity plume, righty play out, you know what I'm saying? On the facial tip. So I was like, dude, you know, I was interested. So I lo and behold, found out she was interested in me. So we started getting together and everything like that. And then, man, I around and took the baby mama on, and I said, damn. And then she grew up and became a brain surgeon.
[00:44:14] Speaker A: Bam.
[00:44:17] Speaker D: That's deep right there.
[00:44:18] Speaker A: Yeah, that is.
[00:44:21] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:44:23] Speaker A: That was a straight up. That was a straight pick six.
Back to the house.
[00:44:27] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
We got one more.
[00:44:36] Speaker A: Okay. All right. Renaissance.
It's pride, but proud of what?
[00:44:48] Speaker B: Minnesota. I love you, man.
[00:44:50] Speaker D: Yeah, I was. Keep it simple. I was.
[00:44:52] Speaker B: I was proud.
[00:44:53] Speaker D: Yeah. Proud of what?
[00:44:54] Speaker B: I was thinking the same thing, but ain't nothing.
[00:44:57] Speaker D: Well, like I said again, if they. Pride.
[00:45:01] Speaker B: So what is pride, though?
[00:45:05] Speaker D: I mean, I guess, like I said, you have to have one to define it for themselves.
[00:45:09] Speaker B: Yeah, I guess I'll look at the urban dictionary.
[00:45:13] Speaker A: Here we go.
[00:45:14] Speaker D: That's.
[00:45:15] Speaker C: This is gonna be priceless.
[00:45:18] Speaker A: This is gonna be priceless.
[00:45:21] Speaker D: Don't let them go to the dictionary.
[00:45:22] Speaker B: So y' all keep talking while I look at pride. Look at a pride in urban dictionary style.
[00:45:29] Speaker D: Renaissance. Excellent point, man. Yeah, that's a good point.
Ain't no ladies out there tonight, are they? Or are they just listening? Some ladies out there. Don't fumble too, then let some good brothers get away.
[00:45:45] Speaker A: Yeah, I just looked it up.
That is gonna be so goddamn funny. Sorry.
That's just gonna be so funny.
[00:45:59] Speaker D: He's still looking.
[00:46:00] Speaker B: No, no, no, I got it, but go ahead.
[00:46:03] Speaker A: You gotta do.
[00:46:04] Speaker B: Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead and explain.
[00:46:08] Speaker E: All right.
[00:46:08] Speaker A: In the Urban Dictionary. Pride month.
Pride month.
First off, these are not the views I run and tell that podcast. This is what they say in the urban dictionary. Pride month is a bunch of fruits running around in the streets waving flags with colors on them.
They have a lot of different kinds of people.
There is the people who like children, the people who like.
Who like. Oh, people who over sexualize everyone and everything. People that are just there to support the ones there because they choose to support themselves and a bunch of others things that are just the same damn thing.
Normal gay. Okay, I guess it's supposed to be the.
The sentence. Normal gay. Dude. Hey, it's pride. It's pride month.
Child predator. Oh, cool. I'll be.
I'll be there.
Person who thinks they are an animal. I'm gonna piss in the street.
[00:47:10] Speaker C: What?
[00:47:11] Speaker A: In front of minors.
The kid whose mom made him go, is that crown covered in AIDS and pot? Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Urban Dictionary.
[00:47:34] Speaker B: Like Gerard said, this is not from.
This is not from running. And tell that. But Urban Dictionary also said that Gay person.
It's finally Pride Month. I get the sprinkle in your mouth.
[00:47:50] Speaker A: Oh, damn.
[00:47:56] Speaker B: Pride Month is a holy.
[00:47:59] Speaker A: It's just like, Well, y' all gonna.
This is. This is not gonna go well.
[00:48:06] Speaker B: What else to say?
Hey, look, sorry, but I don't make this stuff up.
[00:48:12] Speaker C: It's.
[00:48:13] Speaker B: It's Urban Dictionary.
[00:48:14] Speaker A: No, it's. No, no, it's. Urban Dictionary.
[00:48:19] Speaker B: Is a holy holiday to celebrate the LGBTQ and all the other Alphabet that comes with it.
Community and our history and all that we have achieved in the past decade. A lot of people go to Pride Parade to celebrate or to do something at home or. This is a question.
Random Guy is finally Pride Month.
Can't wait to go to the Pride Parade to get some dude.
[00:48:57] Speaker A: Again.
[00:48:57] Speaker D: And for the last and final time, that is the Urban Dictionary definition.
It is not connected with running telly.
[00:49:08] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:49:10] Speaker D: Go get some Dan. That D don't mean damn. I. I'm.
[00:49:23] Speaker B: Another part of.
[00:49:24] Speaker D: There we go.
[00:49:25] Speaker B: Another part of Pride Month is that the month is which. In which the queer community and all forms gather together to celebrate.
So this is the. This is the word. It's not my word. It says, I can't wait for Pride Month so I can get some D. Awesome donkey. Awesome dog.
Some D.
That's what it says.
And once again, we just pass along information because I've been laughing the whole time.
[00:50:04] Speaker A: That's why I'm muted.
You know what, though? I feel like after this episode, I'm be like, you know what?
It was a pleasure being on stereo.
We got the.
[00:50:22] Speaker B: And you know. You know what? You know what's so funny?
[00:50:24] Speaker A: And.
[00:50:25] Speaker B: And look, one of the questions inside the Urban Dictionary said Random guy. It's.
Look, I'm. I'mma say it in the most respectful way.
Random guy.
It's ugly Pride Month.
I can't wait to go to the parade.
What parade? The D parade.
Random guy, where is great month?
10 months of the year? Because one month is Black month.
[00:51:01] Speaker D: So straight month. 10 month gay pride. 1 month black African American.
Oh, well, here we go. Oh, I'm about ready for the final thought now.
[00:51:17] Speaker A: Oh, God. Hey, real quick, y' all, Check the. Check the group chat. But, yeah, it's about that. It's about that time there. You want to do your final thought first?
[00:51:28] Speaker D: Man, I, I thought I did, but Greg done checked me and redirected me. So like I said, man, I think everybody, but I ain't gonna say, yeah, everybody has fumbled something along the way.
Just get over it. Like I said again, they're gonna be some, some other opportunities along the way. But like I said again, I cannot close without thanking every, every listener. Sorry we didn't get many female listeners because they don't did it too. But again, you guys have a wonderful weekend. And like I said, looking forward to the next show.
[00:52:03] Speaker B: You know, my final thought is this.
You know, every time I think about the 12 months and at the end of the 12 months, I also think about the 365 days.
They cannot be another running. Tell that without you finding out that Gerard don't have no underwear on.
[00:52:33] Speaker D: Jeez, now you know what? That I'm done. You know that.
[00:52:42] Speaker A: Oh man, what I got doing anything.
What do I gotta do with this situation? And yes, I do have underwear on. I don't know why y' all put that out there.
[00:52:52] Speaker C: He said because.
[00:52:55] Speaker B: But that's my, that's my final thought. I mean, look on the sewer snow, man. Look, I need everybody to pay attention to what's going on in, in this world. You know what I'm saying? It's a lot that's going on that we, if we don't pay attention as people, we're gonna be left out here.
[00:53:11] Speaker D: We are.
[00:53:12] Speaker B: I, I, I actually need everybody to catch on because if you don't catch on, you gonna muster it out.
It's a lot.
[00:53:29] Speaker D: Yeah, I gotta catch up now.
[00:53:31] Speaker B: But that's my final thought. And then you know what? Then mustard out and muster up. But I would just pick just to see. I mean, don't, don't pay. No, yeah, you gotta think about it just like a football player in the center though. No, but he got the, he got.
[00:53:49] Speaker D: The, he got a tight end.
[00:53:51] Speaker B: What you call them football players where they got the jock strap. Gerard keep a jock, right? Just keep it tight.
He keep everything tight.
[00:53:59] Speaker D: I don't know if that's good or not.
[00:54:02] Speaker A: I don't like, I don't like y' all analogy. I don't like that analogy at all.
We're gonna go ahead and.
[00:54:12] Speaker D: He said.
[00:54:12] Speaker C: You like to keep it like a UPS package.
[00:54:18] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:54:22] Speaker D: Wow.
Wow.
[00:54:25] Speaker B: We just picking on Gerard.
[00:54:26] Speaker D: We love Gerard always, always.
He's like, bro, you gotta like that little brother. We can pick on them all day long, but can't nobody else mess with.
[00:54:35] Speaker B: No, no, no, we ain't gonna lie.
[00:54:37] Speaker A: I ain't allow that.
You hear that?
[00:54:40] Speaker C: Now he did. He. He did say he like to have the jock strap on while he's singing. Prince Adore.
[00:54:49] Speaker B: Forgot about that.
[00:54:50] Speaker C: I forgot about that.
[00:54:53] Speaker A: Ro, you got a final thought?
[00:54:57] Speaker C: I mean, honestly, just to piggyback off of what G man said, a lot going on out in the world, so let me. So listen up. Jack Swans also get hungry, so it's okay to pass a couple shells so they can get back to the beach.
[00:55:20] Speaker D: Smoking some serious over there.
[00:55:22] Speaker B: I'm.
[00:55:26] Speaker A: All right, well, all right, well, I don't have a final thought, but.
